Since 2017, our Windows and Mirrors program has empowered students to explore identity, voice, and community through theatre. This year’s school-wide residency will serve ten classes and integrate middle school benchmarks in character creation, monologue development, improvisation, basic design, and reflective critique.
A spring collaboration with ELA will connect poetry and storytelling to performance, giving students the tools to analyze text, make embodied choices, and share their work with confidence. A professional development session will equip teachers with theatre-based literacy strategies that strengthen curriculum alignment and student engagement.
